When Sadness Fills My Heart

iirishkris

Some days, sadness feels like it’s drowning me. The weight is unbearable, and I break—tears streaming, heart aching, wondering if I’ll ever feel whole again.

My prayers aren’t always eloquent—sometimes they’re just cries for help, but I believe God hears them.Even in the middle of my tears, a gentle reminder often breaks through the despair. It’s not loud or demanding; it’s a whisper in my soul: God is still good. I don’t understand His plans, and I feel lost, but I choose to trust. Not because it’s easy, but because His promises remind me I’m not alone.

He’s near to the brokenhearted. Even when I’m falling apart, His love holds me together. And somehow, that’s enough to keep going.

What about you? How do you hold on to hope when sadness feels overwhelming? Let’s journey together, leaning on the One whose character never changes—even when our hearts break. 💛
